构建和谐广东,关键在于大力发展生产力。发展是硬道理,和谐要靠发展来筑就,经济实力是决定和谐局面的重要方面。广东作为改革开放的一面旗帜,党中央一直寄予厚望。邓小平、江泽民同志等中央领导曾多次视察广东,提出了明确的发展要求。2003年、2004年,胡锦涛总书记先后两次视察广东,要求广东抓住机遇,加快发展、率先发展、协调发展,在全面建设小康社会、加快推进社会主义现代化进程中更好地发挥排头兵作用。党中央的亲切关怀是推进改革开放和现代化建设事业的强大动力。
Building a harmonious Guangdong, the key lies in vigorously developing the productive forces. Development is the last word. Harmony depends on development and economic strength is an important aspect of determining the harmonious situation. As a banner of reform and opening up, the Central Committee of the Party has always placed great hopes. Deng Xiaoping, Comrade Jiang Zemin and other central leaders visited Guangdong several times and put forth specific requirements for development. In 2003 and 2004, General Secretary Hu Jintao inspected Guangdong twice and demanded that Guangdong seize the opportunity to speed up its development, take the lead in developing and coordinating its development, and play a vanguard role in building an overall well-to-do society and speeding up socialist modernization. The party Central Committee’s cordial care is a powerful impetus to pushing forward the cause of reform and opening up and the modernization drive.
