在闽浙赣三省交界的福建北大门,1409公里的公路线上,活跃着一支确保畅安、特别能战斗的队伍,这就是被驾乘人员喻为“北门卫士”的浦城交警。浦城县交警大队曾先后17次受到公安部、省、市级表彰;在1997-2002年南平市所辖十个交警大队全面考评中,五次荣获第一名;至今,该大队已保持“省级文明单位”七连冠。
