智障儿童的语言、词汇贫乏,语句短、语言理解能力差,语言能力的发展与正常发育的儿童相对迟缓,会话能力差距较大,智障儿童在语言上的障碍给他们交际造成了一定的困难,无法与人正常交往,别人也无法了解他们想要说什么、想要做什么。为了使智障儿童能与人们进行交流,参与社会生活,对他们进行语言康复训练是非常必要的。对智障儿童进行语言康复训练,开发训练其语言能力,提高其认知水平,增强其社会适应能力,教者要增强爱心与耐心,循循善诱、潜移默化地进行科学开发训练。
