虽然用免疫扩散法研究麻风病免疫球蛋白水平时,仅发现除IgD以外其他各类免疫球蛋白较正常水平增高两倍,并未发现这些免疫球蛋白有任何物理化学上的异常。作者认为麻风病由于麻风杆菌有毒力的分子和麻风宿主敏感细胞之问的长期密切接触,以及大量杆菌侵入组织,很可能对细胞合成免疫球蛋白的潜能发生不利影响,而导致异常免疫球蛋白的合成。为此,作者采用免疫电泳法对麻风患者的免疫球蛋白进行研究以探讨这种可能性。血清标本的来源为:100例各型晚期麻风患者,30名正常人,20例各型白血病患者,
Although immunoglobulin levels in leprosy were assessed by immunodiffusion, only a further threefold increase in the levels of various other immunoglobulins than IgD was observed, and no physico-chemical abnormalities were observed in these immunoglobulins. The authors believe that leprosy, due to the long-term close contact between the virulent molecules of Leprosy and the susceptible cells of leprosy hosts, as well as the massive bacillus invade tissues, is likely to adversely affect the potential of cells to synthesize immunoglobulins and result in aberrant immunoglobulin synthesis. To this end, the authors used immunoelectrophoresis of leprosy patients immunoglobulin to explore this possibility. The source of serum samples: 100 cases of various types of advanced leprosy patients, 30 normal subjects, 20 cases of leukemia patients,
