重庆市南岸区五马供水系统供水区含涂山镇、鸡冠石镇和两个城市街道办事处,供区内有化工、医药、机械、建材等100余家企业,人口2.5万人。由于工业的发展,城镇规模不断扩大,水的供需矛盾日益突出。据分析,“八五”期末辖内缺水680万吨/年,“九五”期末缺水1000万吨/年。缺水严重制约着该区城乡经济的发展和人民生活的改善。解决该地区的用水、吃水问题,是水利部门义不容辞的责任,也是水利面向社会服务的方向。建设五马供水系统,对促进该地区经济发展,提高水利部门自身效益都具有重要的现实意义。
Nan’an District of Chongqing Wuma Water Supply System Water supply area includes Tuoshan Town, Jiguanshishi Town and two urban sub-district offices for over 100 enterprises including chemical industry, medicine, machinery and building materials with a population of 25,000. Due to the development of industry and the ever-expanding urban area, the contradiction between supply and demand of water has become increasingly prominent. According to the analysis, at the end of the “Eighth Five-Year Plan” period, the water shortage in the jurisdiction was 6.8 million tons / year and that of the Ninth Five-Year Plan period was 10 million tons / year. Water scarcity seriously restricts the economic development of urban and rural areas and the improvement of people’s lives in the area. To solve the problem of water and draft in this area is an undeniable responsibility of the Ministry of Water Resources and a direction of water conservancy for social services. The construction of the Wuma water supply system is of great practical significance for promoting the economic development in the region and enhancing the self-efficiency of the water sector.
