According to a European trader, the price of titanium scrap has risen to a temporary high and has stabilized at more than US$1 per pound after the fall in summer. In early August of this year, there was a shortage of titanium scrap on the market, with fewer orders and a small sales volume of titanium and iron. The price of titanium scrap would not rise to US$1.05/lb. Traders consider Ti-6Al-4V titanium cuttings with a tin content of 0.5% to be offered at US$1 per pound and Ti-6A with a tin content of 2%.
