骨质疏松症是一种悄然流行的侵袭世界上数百万绝经后妇女的一种疾病，它有较高的发生率和死亡率，给社会带来了巨大的经济负担。由于骨质疏松症患者日益增加，故对这种疾病的诊断和治疗应相当重视并掌握，本文目的在于重点介绍有关骨质疏松症的诊断及治疗的新进展。
Osteoporosis is a quietly endemic disease that affects millions of post-menopausal women in the world with high rates of morbidity and mortality and a tremendous financial burden on society. Due to the increasing number of patients with osteoporosis, so the diagnosis and treatment of this disease should be attached great importance and grasp, the purpose of this paper is to highlight the new progress on the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis.
