党的十六大规划了全面建设小康社会的宏伟蓝图和行动纲领，明确提出了到2020年建设惠及十几亿人口的更高水平小康社会的奋斗目标。纪检监察工作必须更主动、更有效地为全面建设小康社会服务。
The 16th National Congress of the CPC planned the grand blueprint and program of action for building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and clearly set forth the goal of building a well-to-do society at a higher level that benefits the population of billions by 2020. Discipline inspection and supervision must be more active and more effective in building an overall well-to-do society.
