1992年9月11日,经国务院同意,国家体委正式批准将马钢列为国家股份制规范化试点企业。一年多来,在国家和部、省领导的大力支持和关怀下,马钢股份制改制工作取得了可喜的成果,H股在香港发行上市获得成功,集资港币39亿元,折合人民币达43亿元;A股发行也已完成,集资人民币23.7亿元,今年元月六日在上海证券交易所挂牌上市。马钢被《国际金融评论》杂志评为1993年度全球上市最成功的公司,于1994年1月11日时授予荣誉证书。
September 11, 1992, with the approval of the State Council, the State Sports Commission formally approved the listing of Masteel as a standardized joint-stock enterprise. Over the past year, thanks to the strong support and care from the leaders of the country, ministries and provinces, the joint-stock reform of Masteel has achieved gratifying results. The successful issuance of H shares in Hong Kong has raised funds of HK $ 3.9 billion, equivalent to RMB 4.3 billion Yuan; A-share issue has also been completed, fund-raising of 2.37 billion yuan, January 6 this year, listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Magang was named as the most successful global listed company in 1993 by International Finance Review magazine and awarded a certificate of honor on January 11, 1994.
