美国两家著名网络公司:美国网络通有限公司(SynOptics Communication Inc)与Wellfleet通信网络公司于10月20日完成合并计划,并正式易名为BayNetworks Inc。新公司借“中国邮电通信、计算机及办公室自动化设备展览会”在京举行之机,公布了其最新产品及在华未来发展策略。 在10月26日举办的新闻发布会上,美国网络通有限公司科技及产品部副总裁柯炳炎博士和Wellfleet通信网络公司产品管理副总裁史凯力先生分别介绍了全新的BaySIS交换式网络互联服务结构系统、Optivity/RM网络管理系统和Access Stack Node未来新一代路由平台等最新产品。
Two well-known US Internet companies: SynOptics Communication Inc and Wellfleet Communications Networks completed the merger plan on October 20 and officially changed their name to BayNetworks Inc. The new company announced its latest products and future development strategies in China through the “China Post and Telecommunications, Computer and Office Automation Equipment Exhibition” held in Beijing. At the press conference held on October 26th, Dr. Ke Bingyan, Vice President of Technology and Products Department of America Netcom Ltd. and Mr. Shi Kaili, Vice President of Product Management of Wellfleet Communication Network Company respectively introduced the new BaySIS switched network interconnection service structure system. Optivity/RM network management system and Access Stack Node new generation routing platform and other new products.
