This article reports the Wistar Rat model of global cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury and its behavioral studies. Neurons in the CA 1, CA 4 and PM area of the hippocampus were found to be severely impaired in the pathology; CA 2, CA 3, moderate damage in the cortex, thalamus and striatum. Behavioral test results showed that the experimental group in the water maze to travel the entire time significantly longer than the control group (P <0.01), the number of errors into the blind side significantly increased (P <0.01). In the jumping test, the number of errors in experimental group and control group increased significantly (P <0.01). The results showed that Wistar Rat brain showed significant learning and memory impairment after repeated ischemia and reperfusion. Behavioral changes due to damage and other memory parts of the hippocampus.
