焊接卷筒是大型起重机中应用最为广泛的一种结构形式。它是直接影响起重机卷绕装置如起升机构、变幅机构、牵引机构等工作特性及其制造成本的关键零部件[1 ] ,其设计和制造一直倍受起重机行业的技术人员关注。现针对现有起重机上使用的焊接卷筒壁厚设计方法偏于保守的现象 ,根据卷筒实际受力特点 ,把卷筒隔离体视为 3向应力体 ,提出以第 4强度理论作为卷筒强度破坏判断准则。通过对起重机实际应用的卷筒为例用该理论进行验算 ,并证明其合理性
