秦皇岛经济技术开发区(英文缩写QETDZ)是1984年经国务院批准设立的首批国家级经济技术开发区之一。地处正在迅速崛起的环渤海经济圈中心地带,毗邻京津,联接华北和东北两大经济区,辖区面积128平方公里。吸引了美国GE、ADM、UTC;韩国LG、浦项;日本旭硝子;泰国正大以及中石油、中粮、富士康等世界500强企业和众多知名公司来这里投资兴业,形成了粮油食品加工、汽车及零部件、重大装备制造、冶金及金属压延、节能环保和高新技术等特色产业,成为中国北方具有活力的投资区域。
