鞍钢第二初轧厂精整工段老工人高忠发同志在抓革命,促生产的运动中,创造了风动无级调速冷切割小车,经半年多时间的使用,效果良好,深受工人同志们的欢迎。该厂生产的各种钢坯,按理都应由大剪机剪切,但因大剪不能满足特厚板坯的要求,因此,一些特厚板坯需要用煤气氧气火焰枪切割,从开始生产盼特厚坯以来,一直使用精整工段自己创造的手工切割枪,劳动条件极坏,温度高、灰尘大。以后采用天津的一种定型电动切割小车,但因工作温度太高(100℃以上),电机常坏,不能正常工作,只能靠手工切割。
