自从卫矛科植物美登木 Maytenus ovatus 和Maytenus buchananii 中分离得抗白血病的撑型大环内酯化合物并确定结构以来,作者从鼠李科植物Colubrina texensis Gray 中分离得二个新的抑制肿瘤的撑型大环内酯化合物,即 colubrinol 乙酰酯(Ⅰ)和 colubrinol(Ⅱ)。此外,并分离得已知的撑型大环内酯化合物 maytanbutine(Ⅲ)。Colubrinol 乙酰酯和 colubrinol 的分离要经过繁琐的步骤,得率分别为0.00005和0.00003%。这二个化合物对小鼠 P-388白血病,在剂过小于20微克/公斤时,小鼠平均存活时间(T/C%)为200。
