番禺会馆位于宣武区上斜街五十号。曾是广东番禺县学子进京应试、公车聚会之地。笔者日前走访了此地。这所院落位于街南侧。据居住这里七十多年的老人讲大门曾开在东南角,门前是高台阶。分东、西二院,西后院有假山、亭子,还有一个小戏台。自1976年地震之后,此院逐渐形成了三四十户的杂住居民,他们在院中各自为营,随意圈垒,至使院中的规模早不复存在,院门的痕迹毫无踪影。留下的只有依稀可辨的二十几间旧屋。1983年,院中发现
