如所周知,地下金属矿山的平巷掘进大都使用风动凿岩机、装岩机和机车配套设备。这种方式需用的人力较多,掘进速度低,且噪声大。然而,随着对快速掘进需要的提高和工资的增长,采用电液钻装机取代风动凿岩机和装岩机可改善这种机械化掘进方式。这种钻装机可完成凿岩、装载、顶板锚杆支护作业,且只需2～3人,作业也较安全。使用它还可在需要的地方架设拱形支架。这种机械化方式已经在欧洲许多矿山使用。
As we all know, the underground metal mine tunneling mostly used pneumatic rock drill, rock loader and locomotive equipment. This approach requires more manpower, driving speed is low, and the noise. However, with the increasing need for rapid excavation and the increase in wages, the use of electro-hydraulic drilling machines instead of air-powered rock drills and rock-mounted machines can improve this mechanized excavation. This drilling machine can be completed drilling, loading, roof bolting operations, and only 2 to 3 people, the operation is more secure. It can also be used to set up arches where needed. This mechanized approach has been used in many mines in Europe.
