瘦素(Leptin)是由脂肪细胞分泌的一种肽类激素,一直以来,下丘脑核群被认为是瘦素在能量代谢方面发挥作用的靶器官,它具有抑制食欲、增加能量代谢以及降低代谢率的功能。但近年来的研究表明,瘦素是体内营养状况与神经-内分泌-免疫功能相互影响、相互作用的重要中介物,其含量与多种自身免疫病的发生、发展有密切关系。因此,瘦素作为一种新型的免疫调节剂在炎症反应和免疫应答中所发挥的作用越来越受到关注。本文就这一关系及瘦素在自身免疫病中的作用作一综述。
