In this paper we concern with the equipotential curves of function uk(x, t) (k = 1, 2 …) so-called approximating source-type solution of diffusion-convection equation,Here we give a mathematical treatment of such kind of curves. As a results,we estab lish the existence theory and obtain some properties of them. It is helpful to verify the nonexistence theory of source-type solution to certain quasilinear parabolic equations
