应日本农村医学会的邀请,由卫生部医政司组织的“农村医学及健康管理研修班”一行12人,于1989年7月赴日本长野县,对佐久地区农村医学的发展和现状、区域性健康管理的组织体系及医疗保健活动等进行了为期十天的考察研修。
