烈日炎炎,一条新建道路正在紧张施工中,我和工会几个同志到工地发放防暑降温用品。这是城市郊区一条新建的道路,这条道路建成后,将会推动城乡经济发展。工地上,民工们头顶烈日,正在紧张施工。我们给每个民工送来了防暑降温用品:一顶草帽、一条毛巾、两瓶矿泉水、一块香皂、两小袋仁丹和风油精。我们来到民工中间,把这些防暑降温用品依次发放到民工手中。民工们双手接过这些用品,个个喜笑颜开,有的将香皂放在鼻孔下轻轻嗅着,眼睛眯成了一条缝;有的将仁丹和风油精拿在手里,互相打听着怎么用;有的将这些东西赶紧放进路边的工具包里。
