：前不久在中国改革研究会的一次研讨会上，专家学者对于中国加入WTO问题开展了讨论。针对当前一些模糊认识，世贸组织研究会常务副会长张汉林教授说，媒体在炒作当中大肆宣传“狼来了”，把百姓引入一个误区，认为入世将给中国经济带来灾难性冲击，甚至把企业亏损倒闭、工人下岗失业这些早已存在的问题都看作是入世带来的影响，这是非常错误的。应该让广大群众正确地理解这个问题。张教授从各个方面分析了加入WTO与中国改革的关系，及对中国经济的影响。他认为，无论从长远还是近期，入世对中国的影响都是利大于弊，甚至可以说是有利无弊。我们从张教授的发言中，摘取了几个重要部分，刊登如下。
: Not long ago, at a symposium held by China Reform Research Association, experts and scholars discussed the issue of China’s accession to the WTO.
