近年来我省红薯高产研究在不少地区取得了一定进展,同时也积累了比较丰富的经验。当前,我省春、夏薯最高亩产只有八、九千斤,如何突破亩产万斤仍然是今后努力的目标。建国以来较成功的高产经验有淮阳县靳隆昌红薯西瓜间作;尉氏县吴庆红薯玉米间作;封丘县刘钧章的丰产经验以及郑州郊区红薯堆栽等。这些经验从不同条件出发,采用不同措施创造了自己的高产途径,是高产研究的借鉴,随着生产水平的不断提高,科学研究又有了新的发展,近两年,我省红薯高产栽培中每亩在9000—10000斤的有七处,8000—9000斤的有九处,7000一8000斤的有
