敌百虫系一种新兴的有机磷杀虫药。其化学名称为氧、氧——二甲基,——1羟,—2—三氯代甲基磷酸酯(O.O.Dimethyl—1—Hydroxy 2—trichloro—methyl—phosphorate)。其化学式为(CH_3O)_2OPCHOHCCl_3。敌百虫由三氯化磷、三氯乙醛、甲醇或乙醇三种药品合成。系由二甲基磷酸盐与氯醛作用后合成(CH_3O)_2POH+CCl_3CHO→(CH_3O)_2OPCHOHCCl_3。敌百虫外文名为 Dipterex,又名 Bayer L13/59。极易溶于水,在水中也比较容易分解。故敌百虫水溶液宜现配现用,不宜搁置过久,以免失效。敌百虫主要经胃毒和接触作用进入昆虫体内,可抑制昆虫体内胆硷脂酶活动,使之不能分解乙酰胆硷,刺激运动神经,以致使肌肉和腺体兴奋、失常而死亡。蚊幼接触
