真正的人民领袖延安时期,毛泽东作为党的领袖,尽一切可能广泛接触农民群众,并且和农民群众建立了深厚的友谊。1938年11月20日,日本帝国主义的飞机轰炸延安城,党中央机关连夜由城内凤凰山麓搬到了城北五华里处的杨家岭。毛泽东住在村里一位大娘临时空出的一孔窑洞里,保卫部门要这户农民迁走,被毛泽东阻止了。毛泽东与大娘朝夕相处,像是一家人。大娘做了什么好吃的东西总要给毛泽东端一碗去,毛泽东有了什么稀罕品,如外地同志送给他的饼干、糖果等,也要给大娘送一些。
