中国加入 WTO 是令世人注目的重大事件。在去年世贸组织召开的西雅图会议上,美国工会再次向克林顿政府及会议施压。这是该会议以无任何结果而告终的原因之一。本文对美国工会在“劳工标准”问题上的作法等进行了剖析。
China’s accession to the WTO is a major event that attracts the world’s attention. At last year’s WTO meeting in Seattle, U.S. unions once again put pressure on the Clinton administration and the conference. This is one of the reasons the meeting ended without any result. This article analyzes the practices of U.S. unions on “labor standards.”
