提起朱自清,人们自然会联想到他的散文《背影》。那寥寥数十行,不过千五百言的文字,过去,我们的父辈读过它;如今,我们的子女又捧着它,半个世纪以来,历久传诵,感人至深!然而,真正令我感动的是接到《朱自清》的剧本,读罢了百万字的有关史料和朱先生的论著之后,我浮想联翩,心潮翻滚,不能自已。作为现代著名的诗人、散文大家; 作为清华大学德高望重的学者、教授;作为坚贞的爱国主义斗士; 由于穷!由于病!由于当时的时势……他,终于倒下了,永远地倒下了! 朱自清的死,震憾了整个清华园! 震撼了黎明前的中国大地! “其为人也,温美为玉,外润而内贞。”这是同仁们对他的评价。
