2000年元月,在首都北京举行了荀慧生、尚小云诞辰100周年演出活动。山东省京剧院苟派再传弟子傅正红参加了演出。她演唱了《红娘》中的选段,唱腔委婉动听,做派自然大方,赢得了观众热烈的掌声。傅正红看上去要比她实际年龄年轻得多。她鹅蛋形脸庞,高高的鼻梁,一双秀目溢满神采,她气质高雅,神态安祥。记者很难将她塑造的春草、红娘、尤三姐等艺术形象联系起来。傅正红自小喜爱京剧艺术,10岁时,曾跟中国著名表演艺术家王金璐练功。1963年,傅正红考入中国戏曲学校。
