Internet是一种将大学或企业的网络与地区或商用网络连接后再接到全国主干网,进而跨越太平洋和大西洋,构成与海外网络相连接的全球网。Internet的网络结构成金字塔形状:最下层是大学或企业网络;中间层是地区网络(或称中间层网络);最上层是全国主干网。 为了实现网络之间的连接,并将信息从一个网络传到另一个网络,必须要使用路由器(Router)。Internet实际上就是利用Router将多个网络连接起来的网络。
The Internet is a global network connecting universities and businesses with regional or commercial networks and then to the national backbone, across the Pacific and the Atlantic. Internet network structure into a pyramid shape: the bottom is the university or enterprise network; the middle layer is the regional network (or middle layer network); the top is the national backbone. In order to achieve the connection between the network and the information from one network to another network, you must use the router (Router). The Internet is actually a network that connects multiple networks using the Router.
