脑心舒系由健康猪十二指肠提取物制成。由上海长城生化制药厂试制,每片10毫克。经临床观察及动物实验证明,脑心舒有降血脂(特别是甘油三酯)、减少动脉粥样硬化斑块、降低心肌氧耗量、增加脑血管搏动血容量、缓和的抗凝血(对内凝途径高岭土部分凝血活酶时间明显延长)、使血流速度增快、血液流态改善、解聚血细胞聚集、减轻脑水肿、减少纤维蛋白原在微血管内的沉积和改善周围神经细胞树突变性等作用。本药经第二军医大学附属长海医院、长征医院,上海第一医学院华山医院,上海第二医学院附属第九人民医院及上海市高血压研究所5个单位试用于228例缺血性脑血管病患者,用法为口服每次20～30毫克,每日3次,疗程为1～3个月。结果示有效率达85.1％,一般在服药后1～2周即可显示疗效,3个月后疗效更为显著。且对椎基动脉供血不足者疗效尤为显著,对缺血性脑血管病的急性期、
