印刷教材是远程学习材料的重要组成部分,其质量高低直接影响到远程教与学的质量。本文以香港公开大学教育硕士课程“教育领导与管理”和中央广播电视大学会计学专业(本科)的专业课“国民经济核算”为例,对两门课程印刷教材从结构安排、内容组成及编写特点等方面进行分析和比较。从分析和比较中可以看出,二者在学习目标的编写、活动数量和安排、作业及评价都有不同,前者更具系统和整体性,考虑到与其他学习材料之间的联系,后者强调知识结构与逻辑,注重知识重点和难点的巩固和掌握,但是仍然没有摆脱传统教科书的设计模式,远程教材特色不够突出。
