自1981年建立细胞遗传室开展遗传咨询专科门诊以来,将国内外近二十年发展起来的外周血淋巴细胞培养染色体制片及显带、羊水细胞培养染色体制片及显带、SCE技术、羊水胎儿血型鉴定、胎儿血型抗体检查、性染色质检查、自体血浆半量培养染色体制片、绒毛细胞培养染色体快速制片、羊水胆硷酶测定等9项新技术应用于临床,进行了细胞遗传学分析与产前诊断等7项专题研究。到1984年8月底,该室对2,690例遗传咨询门诊病人中筛选
