4月11日,由全国人大环境与资源保护委员会、全国政协人口与资源环境委员会共同主办,中国国土经济学研究会、中国林学会、 《今日国土》杂志社共同承办的中国城市森林建设研讨暨经验交流会在北京人民大会堂举行。中国城市森林建设的首倡者、全国政协人口与资源环境委员会副主任、中国林业科学研究院院长江泽慧作了《加快城市森林建设走生态化城市发展道路》的主题报告。

Jiang Zehui, the advocate of urban forest construction in China, deputy director of the CPPCC National Committee for Population, Resources and Environment, and dean of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, made a keynote speech on “Accelerating the development of urban forest in an ecologically-based city.”
