《日语学习与研究》1999年第4期发表高宁先生《论翻译的宏观层面》(以下简称“高文”),关于翻译要重视语境,要注重从总体上把握原文的意见,对于翻译都是有益的、必要的。但是高文关于“语境不仅是翻译赖以生存的‘宏观环境’,而且是检验翻译质量的试金石”的观点,关于“翻译的第一条原则,也是最重要的原则,就是从宏观层面上去把握原文”的观点,以及高文所示某些译例,似均值得商榷。问题涉及翻译的基本理论,笔者不揣浅陋,谈一点看法,愿就教于高先生及各位方家。
