The slag removal machine is one of the key equipments in the water supply and drainage system. Its structure type and working principle are various. In 1987, the first “dry chain type slag removal machine” designed by Xi’an Institute of Architecture Design and manufactured by Xi’an Institute of Metallurgy, was operated in Xi’an Beijiao Pumping Station for one year. The users responded well and considered it to be the present Domestic ideal slag removal equipment. 1. Working principle The structure of “1000 chain slag remover” is shown in Fig. 1. The sectional view shows the structure of the pin and the hinge of the guide frame on the working chain.
