粘孢子虫可寄生于鱼类,两栖类和爬行类等动物,目前已发现700余种,其中大部分寄生在淡水鱼体内,可以说它是淡水鱼所特有的一种寄生虫.有关粘孢子虫的研究国内外虽有不少报道,但多集中在形态分类及新种鉴定,而对其体外培养尚未见报道.粘孢子虫病是养殖鱼类的主要寄生虫病,该病的流行和蔓延常常造成鱼类大量死亡.研究粘孢子虫的体外培养无论对查明粘孢子虫的生活史,还是对粘孢子虫病的防治,都具有十分重要的意义.本文报道了鲢碘泡虫(Myxobolus drjagini Achmerov,1954)体外培养的初步研究结果.
