This paper introduces the general situation of the popularization and application of programmable logic controller in electronics factory of Beijing Institute of Machinery Industry, Ministry of Machinery. Through examples and statistical analysis, it shows that PLC plays an important role in promoting technological transformation of enterprises and has achieved remarkable economic and social benefits.
