神奇的八桂大地,多彩的民族,灵动的语言,汇聚成广西多元文化的巨大宝藏。但随着经济社会的快速发展,一些少数民族语言文字的使用人数越来越少,处于不同程度濒危状况,亟需加强科学保护。为留住民族记忆之根,在党和政府的高度重视、大力支持下,广西大批专业民族研究机构和群众性学术团体蓬勃发展,数以千计的专家学者在科学调查的基础上,多学科交叉研究各民族及民族间的发生、发展、分化与融合规律,多措并举,保护传承各民族的文化。
