Late Shang Dynasty(16th Century B.C.-11th Century B.C.)Total height:133 cm,length:116 cm,width:79 cm Weight:875 kg Tin bronze This is the largest and heaviest bronze vessel from the Bronze Age of China ever found from the Shang Dynasty.Except for the handles,the body and other parts of the Cauldron were made in one piece by means of casting.The handles were additionally cast on the top of the short sides of the vessel(see the attached figures).
