近日,湖北省竹溪县财政、民政部门共同投资新建的城区福利院落成,新增床位56张,将成为城区扩容孤寡老人的“幸福院”。据悉,像这样的福利院竹溪县已有20多所,集中供养孤寡老人和孤残儿童3026人,按照计划,今年将另有4所农村福利院纳入政府投资的提档升级改造项目。
