传统保镖业成为中国古代社会典型的文化现象,涉及到金融、管理、政治、文化等诸多方面,充分彰显出其“俗”性。因传统保镖业是依仗镖师们的武艺实施行动的,所以镖局成为古代武术生存和传承的重要空间,在一定程度上对中国武术的近代嬗变和传承过程起到了承启作用。因此,于今回顾其产生、发展、衰落对中国武术本真传承具有重要的历史意义。
The traditional bodyguard industry has become a typical cultural phenomenon in ancient Chinese society, involving many aspects of finance, management, politics and culture, fully demonstrating its “vulgarity.” Because the traditional bodyguard industry relies on the martial arts of the bodyguard practitioners to carry out the action, the bodyguard becomes an important space for the survival and inheritance of the ancient martial arts. To a certain extent, this plays a positive role in the transformation and inheritance of the Chinese martial arts. Therefore, recalling its origin, development and decline today has an important historical significance to the authenticity of Chinese martial arts.
