The author of 10 cases of infants with systemic cytomegalovirus inclusions (CID) autopsy sections and found that the number of cases involved in the vast number of organs, ranging from 2 to 18. Good hair organs for the lungs, liver and kidney. Cytomegalovirus-infected cells (CICs) were divided into three types: swollen cells, typical giant cells and degenerated giant cells, according to the histological examination of 7 HE slices with more than 10 typical giant cells per slice. Respectively, from 0 to 43.5%, 48.9% to 74.2% and 7.6% to 38.9, as reported in the recent literature using nucleic acid hybridization and subtraction) immunohistochemistry and other test results, then Further CIC evolution can be divided into four phases. The first period of hiding, the second period of swelling, the third period of inclusion and the fourth period of degeneration. The author also discussed the issue of naming.
