中铁物总进出口有限公司(以下简称进出口公司)前身为北京华丰器材贸易公司,隶属于原铁道部物资管理局,是原铁道部利用外资开展国内铁路物资供应业务的先驱。2002年12月,北京华丰器材贸易公司整体公司化改制更名为中铁物总进出口有限公司,成为中国铁路物资总公司(以下简称中国铁物)的子公司。2004年,中国铁物划归国务院国资委管理,为中央特大型商贸企业,进出口公司作为中国铁物外贸业务平台企业,肩负着中国铁物“走出去”的重任。经过多年的努力,进出口公司在“中国铁物”品牌推广、海外渠道建设、外贸业务规模等方面都取得可喜的成就。
China Railway Materials Import and Export Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Import and Export Company), formerly known as Beijing Huafeng Equipment Trading Company, is affiliated to the Materials Administration Bureau of the former Ministry of Railways and is a pioneer in the utilization of foreign investment by the former Ministry of Railways for the domestic railway material supply business. In December 2002, the overall corporatization and transformation of Beijing Huafeng Equipment Trading Company was renamed as China Railway Materials Import & Export Co., Ltd. and became a subsidiary of China Railway Materials Corporation (hereinafter referred to as China Railway Materials). In 2004, China Iron & Steel was placed under the management of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. As a large-scale commercial and trade corporation of the Central Government and an import and export company as a platform for China’s iron and steel foreign trade business, China Iron & Steel shoulders the heavy responsibility of “going global”. After years of hard work, the import and export companies have made gratifying achievements in terms of brand promotion, overseas channel construction and scale of foreign trade.
