关于90年代文学的状况和90年代小说的状况,我们的教材里似乎什么都说了,但是又什么都没说清楚。通编教材写得没有意思其实是应该的,这是因为教材必须追求“价值中立”。什么是价值中立呢?尼采说追求价值中立就是佛陀的态度,佛陀的态度其实就是拒绝对事物表态,拒绝作是非价值的判断,佛陀的智慧就是对世界闭上眼睛。为什么?因为要保命、要长生不老,所以就闭起眼来对世界没有态度,只有价值中立才能长生不老。同样的,教材和知识分子只有价值中立,才能经得住时间的考验(见尼采:《论善恶的谱系》)。
