改革开放以来,我国经济学界出了不少新书,但是,能够引起轰动,引起中外人士瞩目的却实在不多,摆在我面前的由中国人民大学经济系教授方生主编的《走向开放的中国经济》乃是其中之佼佼者。这是一部充满新意而且摆脱陈旧模式束缚的教科书。这是一部具有重大现实主义和深远指导作用的很有价值的参考读物。该书主编方生教授是著名的经济学家,是我国开放经济的积极倡导者。早在改革开放之初,他就负命南下就任草创时期的深圳大学副校长兼特区经济研究所所长,为特区教育事业和开放经济理论建设作出了积极的贡献。
