The Comanche Memorial Hospital in the United States deploys Brocade’s high-performance end-to-end data center network to provide infrastructure for the future emergency department and a smooth transition to the McKesson electronic health record (HER) system. This new environment provides 10x the network capacity to create a fully redundant network architecture that is constantly expanding to meet the needs of tomorrow’s data and devices and providing advanced, comprehensive healthcare services to residents in southwestern Oklahoma. Manchurian Memorial Hospital is one of Oklahoma’s largest hospitals in the United States, including obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, surgery, family medicine, rehabilitation and emergency services. With 1,500 employees and 250 doctors, the hospital needed a solution that could support more patients, speed patient care and extend communication services to emergency rooms and other hospital facilities.
