从中国第一所专业美术学校创办至今,中国近现代美术教育走过了百年的历史,中国的美术从传统走向当代,留下了一个个享誉国际的名字。每一所院校传承着历史,不断寻求突破和转变,也孕育了中国当代艺术的现在和未来。中央美院历史的汇合如今,若随机请问街边一个普通路人某张画好不好,想必他首先看画“像不像”。这与明朝以降中国绘画求神似而不求形似的传统完全相悖。“写实”如何能够产生如此大的影响,以至于妇孺皆知?除了时代的变化,西画的引进,徐悲鸿和北平艺专起了很大作用。
