《论语》中有一则很有意思的小故事《孺悲欲见孔子》:“孺悲欲见孔子,孔子辞以疾。将命者出户,取瑟而歌,使之闻之。”大意是说,良心未泯的孺悲做了亏心事,想见孔子,孔子推辞有病不见。待传话的人刚出门口,孔子就取下琴瑟,边弹边唱,琴声歌声很大,故意使孺悲听到。孔子真不愧是一代大教育家,他非常智慧地搭起了一架“揭而不露”的梯子:自己不见孺悲,是给他搭起一架下台阶的梯子,不让他难堪,留给他改过自新的机
