应邀去新加坡参加首届世界华文微型小说研讨会,因航班的关系,有几位作家要在新加坡多逗留一天。如何安排好这自由活动的一天呢?新加坡著名诗人秦林是个热心人,他知道马来西亚女作家朵拉兼搞美术,就建议我们去参观陈瑞献艺术馆。 陈瑞献曾到上海来办过画展,中国的宣传媒体曾报道过他。他是新加坡多才多艺的国宝级人物,是集画家,雕塑家、书法家、作家与诗人为一身的大艺术家。于是,我欣然前往。 陈瑞献艺术馆坐落于新加坡唐明宋文物馆顶楼,1993年建立,是世界上少数几家专为一位在世艺术家建立的艺术馆之一。

Chen Ruixian went to Shanghai to run an art exhibition and was reported to him by China’s propaganda media. He is a versatile national treasure in Singapore, a painter, sculptor, calligrapher, writer and poet as one of the big artists. So, I am pleased to go. Located at the top floor of Singapore’s Tang Ming Song Museum, it was established in 1993 as one of the few art galleries in the world dedicated to an artist in living.
