合作学习是现代教学发展的趋势,越来越多的人意识到合作的重要性与优越性。传统的英语教学学生处于被动接受知识的局面,难以达到学生运用语言进行交际的目的。主要通过对有关理论的阐述然后在理论指导下进行具体的课堂合作活动,如词汇教学中的小组合作,对话教学中的小组合作,阅读教学中的小组合作,写作教学中的小组合作,语法教学中的小组合作这些合作都是通过“组内互动,组间竞争”的生生互动的形式体现出来。小组合作学习在初中课堂的运用能充分调动学生学习英语的积极性,有助于提高学生的自主学习能力和语言交际能力,大面积提高英语课堂教学的质量。
